Jazz bought a t-shirt a while back that read “I shop, therefore I am”. Jazz laughed at it at first but soon related to it and felt embarrassed deep inside after discovering Jazz’s secret thrill. Jazz has this need that needs to be fulfilled some way or another but it is usually quite satisfied with an unnecessary shopping spree. Jazz’s need fulfillment occurs after a buying session of the things that Jazz requires but mostly for the things that Jazz doesn’t really require. (Jazz blushes because Jazz knows that Jazzes out there are calling Jazz a compulsive shopper and are probably enrolling Jazz in a “how to resist temptation” workshop *yikes!) Jazz blames it on the buzz of possession. That splendid thrill of buying! Owning! That unearned reward granted to Jazz every once in a while by … oh well! Jazz! That moment when Jazz is reluctant whether to buy something or not and then Jazz comforts Jazz by saying “Jazz might need it someday … at some occasion it might come in handy” how many times has Jazz said that to Jazz during that forever-existing persuasion pursuit? Why is it so vital for Jazz to own? Why is it so fulfilling? And how can it fill Jazz up while in fact, it really conveys hollowness and emptiness?
Now that Jazz is exposed (*blush) … Jazz wants to go back to the title…
Above in the title phrase, Jazz couldn’t really fill that blank with a verb that will complete that phrase because Jazz doesn’t think any verb can truly define the existence of Jazz or … does Jazz disagree? Even when the verbs are of effective value like “think”, “do”, “give”, “make”, “create”… not a single verb can define Jazz’s existence nor give it proper meaning. Jazz thinks that the existence of Jazz is only defined by the multiple verbs acted out by Jazz that will eventually draw Jazz’s path along the way and describe Jazz’s character and life.
If Jazz had to fill that blank with one verb what would Jazz write?
Sincerely yours,
Jazz
